Opening hours
Located 30 minutes south of Angers, in the heart of Anjou and near the slopes of the Layon River, we welcome you to the Château du Fresne cellar year-round, from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6:30 pm, for a free tasting of our cuvées as well as advice on food and wine pairings.
We are delighted to introduce you to our wide range of Loire Valley wines, including appellations such as: Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, Crémant de Loire, Anjou-Villages, Cabernet d’Anjou, Rosé de Loire, Coteaux du Layon Faye…
We are closed on Sundays and public holidays, but we regularly organize events at the estate (Open Doors, Food & Wine Pairing evenings) and also participate in external wine fairs. Feel free to browse our website or contact us for more information.

For several decades, we have been dedicated to welcoming you warmly and convivially to our vineyard estate, whether you’re a local or just passing through our beautiful wine-growing region of Anjou.
Certified “Caves Touristiques” (Tourist Cellars) and “Vignobles & Découvertes” (Vineyards & Discoveries), we are part of the network of Loire Valley wine estates that have committed to a quality reception approach in the cellar, managed by InterLoire in collaboration with tourism and vineyard institutions.
Whether you are traveling through France, exploring the Loire Valley Wine Route, or just visiting us: we also welcome motorhomes and vans, particularly through the France Passion network.
