Varietals : Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage : 2024

Terroir : Vines grown on degraded schists from schists and sandstones origins.

Vinification : Harvested slightly before over-ripeness, destemmed and macerated during 6 to 12 days. Slowly and respectfully pressed, allowing the typicity of the terroir to express.

Tasting notes : Well balanced, roundness, fruitness and structure. Good freshness and harmonious tannins. Red and black fruits aromas.

Serving temperature : Between 14 and 18°C.

Ageing potential : Up to 7 years.

Pairings : Delicatessen, red and white meat, cheese, chocolate desserts.

 

Residual sugars : <2g/L

Alcool : 12,5% alc./vol.

Château du Fresne is present in European markets and the broader export sector, but the majority of our clientele consists of private customers. We prioritize direct sales and deliver across France between 2 to 5 times a year, allowing us to maintain strong relationships with our customers. Some figures: over 30 weeks of delivery each year, 45 customers delivered on average each week, 70 departments delivered at least twice a year, over 400 cases of wine delivered each week…
