Terroir : Vines grown on degraded schists from schists and sandstones origins.
Vinification : Harvested slightly before over-ripeness, destemmed and macerated during 6 to 12 days. Slowly and respectfully pressed, allowing the typicity of the terroir to express.
Tasting notes : Good freshness and little harmonious tannins. Red and black fruits aromas, fresh fruits.
Serving temperature : Between 12 and 14°C.
Ageing potential : Up to 3 years.
Pairings : Delicatessen, red and white meat, hard paste cheese, red fruits pastries.
Residual sugars : <2g/L
Alcool : 12% alc./vol.

Château du Fresne is present in European markets and the broader export sector, but the majority of our clientele consists of private customers. We prioritize direct sales and deliver across France between 2 to 5 times a year, allowing us to maintain strong relationships with our customers.
