Terroir : The grapes come from 20 to 45 years old vines. In sand and gravel soils on the upper hill side.
Vinification : Direct pressing, settling for 24h at 10°C. Indigenous yeasts fermented. The process of “mutage” begins with tangential filtration and SO2.
Tasting notes : Nice, fresh and fruity. Good intensity, generous quince aromas, white fruit overtones.
Serving temperature : Between 8 and 10°C.
Ageing potential : Up to 3 years.
Pairings : Salad, barbecues, white meat, asparagus, snails, goat cheese, raclette.
Residual sugars : 22g/L
Alcool : 11,5% alc./vol.

Château du Fresne is present in European markets and the broader export sector, but the majority of our clientele consists of private customers. We prioritize direct sales and deliver across France between 2 to 5 times a year, allowing us to maintain strong relationships with our customers.
